Sports department is well equipped with all the necessary equipment of indoor and outdoor activities . The coaches are all national and international achievers. They enhance the innate potential from childhood and mobilize in them team and winning spirit. A National level swimming pool, well laid cricket pitch, Lawn tennis courts, basket ball and volley ball courts are an added attraction to the sprawling campus. Indoor games like carom, Chess, table tennis further supplant the robust development of students.

Universal symphony in yogic harmony

Yogic instruction from  an early age brings harmony to the restless minds. Concentration and unison of thoughts within a compressed time frame is what we aim through this discipline.

Martial skills

Teaching defensive skills at the hour of need is what DPS fosters. Different forms of Shotokan and Bodokan and other forma of Karate are taught in this institute. The excellence cultivated in the  school is seen with many students winning National awards.

Creative Corner

Creativity in a human being is dormant. The potential in every child must be realized and nurtured and it is the duty of the school to do so. The activity block offers like music (vocal & instrumental), dance (creative & classical) , paper technology and wood craft. All these efforts contribute towards making learning not just enjoyable for the child but also give a scope to widen their horizon.

Swimming

The six lane swimming pool facility has an adequate changing and locker room provision for boys and girls separately. The filtration equipment provided will ensure international health standards in water cleanliness.

A baby swimming pool with floaters, well trained life guards and coaches ensure the safety and mobilize the standards for national and international achievements.

Horse-Riding

In tie up with the Hyderabad Polo Riding Club, DPS organizes horse riding classes every Wednesday after school hours.
