INDIA IS OURS

Dr Ambedkar once said, "Every generation is a new nation". So let this generation of India be a new nation with new ideas. India can be taken to much greater heights by this generation of dipsites.  With this resolution the young brigade of Delhi Public School, Nacharam campus celebrated Independence Day with all their nationalistic sprit and fervor to have the feel that "India is ours".

The tiny tots of pre nursery, nursery and preprimary, all dressed as national leaders enticed the audience with their confidant speeches. The march past instilled a feeling of pride and love for their country. It was really stunning to see the enthusiastic students beaming with energy compare the whole program on their own. Their patriotic sprit really captivated the audience.

The 62nd Independence day was a tribute to the rich, sacrifice, nationalism and hardcore patriotism and DPS Nacharam campus was extremely fortunate to have Ms "Ram Lakshmi IFS" as the chief guest. The whole of DPS contingent took the oath to serve the country, the environment, and the world at large. The students and staff led by the principal, along with the management planted 500 teak trees in the sprawling campus with the resolution to make the nation a greener place to live in. It was a celebration with a different note apart from having a spectacular march past, patriotic songs, freedom movement tableaus and the inspiring speeches of the chief guest. It was an earnest attempt to keep the pride of our hard earned freedom intact. This unique program helped in inculcating in the students the democratic, socialistic and secularist values laced with most important of all- Moral Values.

We at DPS believe to stand aside and not follow the crowd, we pledge that it is our ardent endeavor to protect cultural heritage and ethos so as to churn out a whole new generation of nationalists, visionaries and technocrats besides being responsible citizens as we want to "Be the change you want to see".
