House System

To promote team spirit, group loyalty and healthy competition, all the staff and students are allotted one of the four Houses after the names of famous gemstones like Ruby / Emerald / Sapphire / Topaz.  All students from Class I onwards compete house wise in all Co-curricular and extra curricular activities.


Competitions are grouped as Follows:

Group A (I & II) Group B(III, IV & V)
Group C(VI, VII & VIII) Group C(IX & X)


Each House is headed by a Captain and a Vice Captain.
A member of the staff is designated as house mistress.
She  coordinates the work with other staff members in the house.


Points are awarded to the students throughout the year for extra curricular activities, games, sports and discipline.
At the end of the year the House gaining the highest number of points is awarded a rolling shield for being the best House of the year.


Significance of color


RUBY:-

Red color signifies  strength, health, warmth, the essence of life and passion.



TOPAZ :-

Yellow color signifies optimism, enlightenment, and happiness.



SAPPHIRE :-

Color blue signifies distance, love, peace, trustworthy, dependable and  commitment.



EMERALD :-

Green color signifies growth, learning, healing, abundance, fertility, and prosperity.
